Nerio 'Papik' Poggi presents the new project of two of his closest collaborators: Ten Strings composed precisely by the guitarist Alfredo Bochicchio (already protagonist of the Cocktail Guitar series) and Marcello Sirignano, violinist and string arranger. TEN STRINGS - MOVIE THEMES FOR GUITAR AND STRING is a journey through some great musical themes from the history of cinema, specially rearranged by Alfredo Bochicchio and Marcello Sirignano, for classical guitar and strings. We therefore move from the creations of the great composers of film music (E. Morricone, J. Williams, S. Myers, A. Trovajoli, F. Micalizzi) up to some compositions by J.S. Bach used in cinema. The album ends with a song contained in a B-Movie by Nino D'Angelo which acquires, in this version rearranged by the two musicians, a new suggestion. Roman guitarist, composer and arranger, Alfredo Bochicchio soon begins to collaborate with master Franco Micalizzi in the production of soundtracks and lp. He later collaborated in live sessions and/or in studio with various Italian and international artists (Gloria Gaynor, Tony Hadley, Diane Shuure, Arturo Sandoval, ecc.) Alfredo Bochicchio is also a member of the band “PAPIK” with which, in 2012, he played in the prestigious Blue Note of Tokyo. He is one of the composers of the last series of “LUPIN III – The Italian Adventure” soundtrack. Marcello Sirignano graduated in violino in 1988 and in jazz in 2005 at the S. Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome under the guidance of masters Bruno Mollo, Mila Costisella and Paolo Damiani. After graduating on violin, he continued to study with the masters Franco Tamponi and Pavel Vernikov and participated in several chamber music courses with the masters Marco Lenzi and Paolo Centurioni. In April 2006, he released his first album of original compositions with the participation of Stefano Di Battista and Danilo Rea published by Camjazz label and later distributed all over the world. He worked and arranged for famous italian and international artists (Laura Pausini, Fiorella Mannoia, Stefano Di Battista, ecc.)
