Pino Daniele was one of the most important Italian songwriters and performers of recent years. His sudden passing came as a shock to the entire music world, not just the Italian one. The artist had always been beloved abroad, thanks to the sound of his songs, which drew on Neapolitan Mediterranean culture but also, and above all, on 1970s American jazz, soul, and funk. So much so that he often collaborated with leading American musicians of the genre. The Italian musicians who appeared on his records are the flagships of the Italian jazz-funk scene: Tony Esposito, Tullio De Piscopo, James Semese, Ernesto Vitolo, Rino Zurzolo, Agostino Marangolo, and Gigi De Rienzo. And these last two musicians, drummer and bassist, respectively, are guests on several tracks included in this tribute that the Papik team created for the Neapolitan artist who passed away 10 years ago. Papik's great respect for the artist is evident in the arrangements chosen for the songs, including the most well-known ones, such as the choral "Napule è," which closes the album, and the Latin version of "Yes I Know My Way," which gives the album its title. Guests on the 19 tracks that make up the CD, in addition to the aforementioned musicians, include: Laura Lanzillo, Daniela Fiorentino, Stessy, Marco Armani, Daniele Scannapieco, Gianfranco Romagnoli, Claudio Fiori, Giuseppe Milici, Erika Croce, Francesco Boccia, Anna Fondi, Roberto Gervasi, Paco Di Maso, Sarpay Ozcagatay, Savio Vurchio, Aurelio Fierro Jr., Federico Malaman, Massimo Guerra, Walter Ricci, and Gustavo Baiao.
