SEA BREEZE = WEST COAST, YACHT ROCK, AOR, BLUE EYED SOUL !!! These definitions of musical genres, especially popular in the 1970s and 1980s on American FM radio stations, have become a major trend again in recent years thanks to a number of DJs around the world who are reviving this type of sound during their sessions. The Irma Records catalog already featured some standout productions on this theme, and almost all of them had a common denomi nator: producer Nerio Papik Poggi. Nerio Poggi has always been a great admirer of the genre, especially for its connections with the world of Soul and Jazz and for the re fined sounds that define this music. He didn't waste a moment in dedicating an entire artistic project to it under the name: SEA BREEZE. The first album of this project, entitled WEST COAST RENDEZ VOUS, was released in 2023 and was so well received that it was also re leased in Japan, where this genre is very popular. This new album, titled Go Back, features David Florio, Dario Daneluz, Stevie Biondi, Riccardo Rinaudo, Danny Losito, Frankie Lovecchio, and Dagmar Segbers. This album, like the previous one, features covers such as Bob Scaggs' Jojo, Rupert Holmes' Him, Steely Dan's Do It Again, and Neil Young's Lotta Love, made famous by Nicolette Larson. Nerio Poggi and Peter De Girolamo, the production duo Papik, have created another gem of the genre, as this album will also be released simultaneously in Japan.
