One year ago IRMA released the celebrative Chill Out Cafè Vol.10, which contained for the first time a CD and a DVD with video clips from the artists involved in the series that’s been going on since 1998. As regular as ever, here comes Volume 11 of the most important and influential Italian Chill Out collection. And it’s a return to the 2CD audio format, this time in a special Super Jewel Box Plus packaging. The selection is, as usual, care of Cesare Cera and Umbi Damiani. It presents more undiscovered gems, which could easily become little classics in their genre as it often happened in the past. Several new international artists are taking part to the project: Caradefuego from Spain, Sakai Asuka from Japan, Elmio from Sweden, From P60 from Hungary, Amana Melomè from the US, but also Papik, Zone and Kosmax from Italy. Italians are also indie-folk revelation Silvia’s Magic Hands. Among the masters of the genre Ohm Guru, Cybophonia, United Peace Voices and Belladonna all mingle with the newcomers. Opening tune is from the late DJ Rodriguez, a glimpse from the forthcoming unreleased material album from the sadly missed, seminal IRMA artist.
